O improve the diffusion of oxygen into the aquarium, we recommend using a TetraTec Air Stone. These convert large bubbles of air into smaller ones, thereby increasing their relative surface area and improving the transfer of oxygen into the water. In situations where the air pump is situated below the aquarium, a TetraTec CV check valve should be fitted to avoid back-siphoning.
