What are the delivery costs at Living Reef Aquatics shop online?

Delivery charges depend on how much you spend and which products you order, your order summary will clearly state the delivery charges. Most products fall within our standard flat rate of £6.00 per order and most orders are FREE when the total excluding delivery charges exceeds £60. Please note our current delivery area is UK Mainland Only.

Order and delivery confirmation emails

Upon receipt of your order, an email will be sent confirming your order. When your order is shipped, we will notify you by email.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

All orders should be with you within 2-5 working days. In most cases providing the order is placed before 12am the item will be delivered next day to UK mainland excluding Scottish Highlands.

Where can you deliver orders?

Our current delivery areas are U.K Mainland only. We do not currently ship to any International address. We do not deliver to a PO Box address.

Do you ship Livestock?

Some livestock may be available for shipping. Livestock are individually charged. We will not ship until we have a confirmed delivery address and an agreed pre-arranged time for delivery. If you are not in when the livestock is delivered the livestock will be returned to us and you will be charged for the return delivery. Furthermore you will not be able to order livestock from our site again, there are no exceptions. Please note we do not ship mammals. Any DOA must be notified immediately. All livestock is guaranteed for live delivery only. Please follow the acclimatization instructions fully.

How much does it cost to ship livestock?

We will only ship livestock using a guaranteed express service. Please contact us for a quotation, however please note that the prices start from £20.25.

How do I make changes to my order?

If you email or telephone us before your order is dispatched the order may be amended at our discretion. If the order has already been dispatched changes to the order can only be made at your expense. You will be responsible for all carriage costs incurred - where carriage is free of charge 10% will be added onto the original price.

Can I pay by cheque?

No, we do not accept cheque payments.

How can I change my delivery address?

On the Order summary screen you will have the option to change your shipping and billing address. If you are already a registered user, this can also be achieved by login to 'My Account'.

What payment methods do you accept?

You may pay using cards displaying the following signs; Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Maestro, Solo.

What are the special instructions on the order screen for?

We advise customers to use this function for extra details on your delivery address, for example "if out please leave with neighbor"

Where do I enter my promotional code?

The promotional code is added on the order summary screen at step 2 or can be added before placing an order by entering promotional code on homepage.

Do your prices include V.A.T.?

Yes all prices include V.A.T. at the current rate of 17.5% where applicable.

I am unable to complete the online registration what do I need to do?

Please phone 01322 281500 and we will be happy to assist you.

I forgot my password, what can I do?

You can request a new password here http://www.livingreefaquatics.co.uk/ForgotPassword.aspx - your new password will be sent to the email address you have previously registered with us.

What if an item is out of stock?

You will be notified by email of out of stock items beyond our control. You will be given the opportunity to have these items added as a back order and will be notified when they become available for dispatch.

How do I change my details online?

You can change your details by logging into your account, by clicking 'My Account' and choosing the right option, for example 'My details' or 'Change password'

Do you ship all Livestock?

No, certain livestock will not be shipped, however a deposit can be paid and reserved for in-store collection. Please contact us by telephone or email for further information.

What happens when I pay a deposit for an animal?

Once we receive a deposit for any of our listed livestock, we will contact you by telephone or email to discuss collection. In the unlikely event that the listed livestock which you reserved is no longer available we will contact you with an alternative choice or refund your deposit in full. Please note that once we have accepted your deposit for any listed livestock your deposit becomes non-refundable should you decide to cancel for any reason - with no exceptions. Should you wish to change your selection upon visiting the shop we may at our discretion transfer part of your deposit, retaining 20% for our costs. Should Livestock be sent to you by courier no changes can be made to you selection.

How do I sign up for your Newsleter?

You can sign up for the newsletter during registration or by subscribing on our homepage. The newsletter will be sent no more than once a week and willl showcase new livestock and special offer promotions. Should you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletter, simply login to your account and uncheck subscribed to newsletter.

Accuracy of information

Living Reef Aquatics (Living Reef Ltd) (livingreefaquatics.co.uk) make every effort to ensure that all the information on this website is up-to-date and accurate. However we will not be liable to you or any third party for any loss, damages or grievances, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this site.

Privacy

All information gathered from the website is used only to fulfill your order. It will not be used to send you unsolicited email or offered onto any third parties.

Returns

In the unlikely event that you are not completely happy with your purchase you can within 7 days return the goods to us subject to the following conditions:

1. Before returning an item to us you must first contact us by email within 24 hours with a description of the product, purchase date and reason for its return.

2. You are responsible for any costs incurred returning products to us.

3. If the goods are not returned within 7 days after you have informed us then your right to cancel will be revoked.

4. The product must be returned unused, undamaged and complete including the packaging. Goods not returned in a saleable condition will be returned to you upon receipt of carriage.

5. Goods sent with free delivery - 10% will be deducted to cover our costs.

6. Custom made or special orders are not covered by this guarantee.

Items received damaged or faulty on arrival please follow instructions in condition 1 above. On receipt we will replace the item and return it with free carriage. Please be aware that some manufacturers require the product to be returned for inspection, this may delay your replacement.

EXCLUSIONS

Aquariums, tanks and cabinets. These must be checked upon receipt for damage or breakage prior to signing and accepting the delivery. Once accepted claims can not be made for replacement or refund.

All products carry the manufacturers guarantee.
